Beauty | L’Oréal Paris Infallible Favourites

January 18, 2016

Hi Everyone!

I thought I’d share with you my current favourite beauty discoveries that I recently just got on offer from Boots!

You’ve probably seen them in the shops but it’s the L’Oréal Paris Infallible range. I’ve been eyeing these up for a while but not been sure if they’d be any good or not, but they were recently in a 3 for 2 offer so thought why not try some of them out!

I got the 24 hour mattifying foundation, the primer and the fixing mist. The primer is great as you only need to use a tiny amount and it goes a long way, and it also leaves my skin feeling really smooth ready for applying my foundation. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy like some primers do as well which is also a bonus! 🙂

I really like the foundation as it does what it says on the tin! I can go the whole day and my face still looks shine free which is what I look for in a foundation. Usually by lunch time my make up has given up on me and I’m starting to look a bit shiny but with this it stays put and I don’t even need to use powder so it feels so light weight which is also something I love about it. One thing I do find is that it’s quite thick so I tend to find I use quite a lot of it when using it but I don’t mind as it seems to be lasting me a fair while anyway! 🙂

The fixing mist is something that I’d seen pop up on Instagram for a while and I kept looking in my local Superdrug and Boots for ages and it never seemed to be there! Anyway, I managed to get my hands on it when I was shopping in Leeds! Not only does it set your makeup but it leaves your face feeling hydrated which I like as the foundation is matt. The only thing I’ve noticed is if you don’t shake it well enough you end up with white speckles all over your face haha! So just make sure you shake it lots!

Overall, I’m really pleased with these products and I will definitely be buying again when they run out even if they aren’t on offer. If you can I recommend you give them a go, especially the fixing mist!

What are your favourite beauty finds?

Sophie xx

I have a constant battle with shine. I’ve used the foundation but not the fixing spray. That sounds good I’ll have to give it a try x

I’ve heard people talking about fixing spray but I’ve never tried it. The L’Oreal range sounds good, I will go and see if they have a foundation that doesn’t make me look like an orange!

I’m trying to build a collection of makeup items. These sound good, especially for the prices.

Oooh I haven’t really heard about this range.

I do get quite shiny (grr) so wouldn’t mind trying the matte foundation. xx

I bought the mist the other day, and after spending a while fixing my face for night out i sprayed it and it left white flecks all over my face!! I was so annoyed do you get that? did i not shake it up enough? x

I had that the first time I used it! Then went on Twitter to see if anyone had the same problem but it’s cause you’ve really got to shake it, it’s a pain but it’s worth it when the makeup stays put all day 🙂 x
