Majorca Travel Diary!

Hello Everyone!

As I’m having some major holiday blues today, I thought it would be a good idea to do a little travel diary of my recent family holiday! 🙂

Pollença

Last week me and my family went on big summer holiday to Majorca, we flew from Leeds Bradford as it’s the closest airport to us. It was absolutely manic, the last time I flew from here it was really quiet, it may be due to it being bank holiday weekend/summer holidays!

We had an early morning flight, this meant we had most of the day on Saturday to settle in and get used to the heat! There was 8 of us in total, so we tend to book a villa through Villa Plus (highly recommend!). It’s nice as it means we can have our own space and also own pool!

We stayed in Alcudia, so spent most of the days sunbathing on the really big white beach. It’s a lovely resort as it’s got plenty to do but still relaxed! As we’d stayed here before we had certain restaurants we would go to, our all time favourite is Las Delicious, the staff there remember us every time we go back and refer to my brother as Justin Bieber! Haha, they always ensure that every visit is the best it can be.

We also have a go-to ice cream place that we visited every day! It’s called La Boutique Del Gelato, they sell the best ice cream in Alcudia and the price is unbeatable! It’s 95 cents for 1 scoop, but 1 scoop to them is about 3! It’s just the best, and all the ice cream is homemade on site, so each day there is always new flavours. I definitely recommend the Nutella or Ferrero Rocher! The staff here are lovely, a couple of years ago for my birthday, they made me a surprise ice cream sundae as a gift from them and made me a card as they knew I’d visit that day! 🙂

We went on a boat trip on the Tuesday, we were warned it would be a bit choppy.. think the photo of me and my sister, Charlotte show otherwise that my auntie took! Haha, definitely a photo to remember.

Alcudia Old Town Walls

Alcudia Old Town

We also had a visit to Alcudia Old Town, it’s lovely. We walked around the walls there and had a wander around the little streets. The buildings are so cute, especially this little quiet side street we found away from all the hustle and bustle of the shops. On our way back from here we stopped at Pollença for a look around, another lovely place where I would definitely stay!

There is also Alcudia town, the newer part which you can walk to along the beach and go look around the marina. Some of the boats there are just out of this world! I’m so jealous of the people who own them, I’d love to be able to go on one and nosey around haha!

It was a lovely week, family time is so important to us all so we can’t wait to be able to go on another holiday again! This is only a selection on the photos that were taken, definitely not helping with my holiday blues at all!

Where are some of your favourite places to go? 🙂
